Well here I am again - in sunny old Blackpool. I have to say that the place really looks inviting in the sunshine.

Some organisational changes are making life a bit uncomfortable at the moment - but I am sure it will all settle down soon.

Life at home is good, with Mark getting plenty of work at the moment. Jack has done really well in his recent exams, including coming 3rd in his class in Maths. He's been shooting tonight - practicing for Sunday's competition. He has also gone out for a meal with his dorm tonight - for keeping his room tidy (I was amazed - he is only at home at the weekends, and his bedroom is amazingly untidy :-)).

Mom and Dad have been on a cruise (oh to be retired!) I think they will be due back this weekend. I'm pleased that they are seeing the world, and getting up and going out and about - I'd hate for them to sit around being "old".....

The May bank holiday weekend looks like its going to be good weather-wise. Hopefully we'll be out and about a bit - as mentioned earlier, Jack is shooting on Sunday - haven't got plans for anything else yet, but I'm sure something will happen.

A friend of ours is delving in technology for the first time - they got BROADBAND!!!! Unfortunately, their "b" won't stop flashing, so BT are on the case! It'll all work OK in the end!

Well that's it for now - I'll just lie back and relax in my hotel room - oh no, I didn't tell you - I'm in a suite this week, very posh, separate lounge and bedroom - quite the business.......
