Hi there - me again! It's been a while I know - March I think! So what's been happening since then:

March 08:
Haven't been to Blackpool again, and it looks like I will not be going again! Mixed feelings really, it was quite a challenging project, but there were lots of things wrong with the way it was being handled from both sides. I will miss seeing the "team", and I will quite miss staying in the Imperial, as they made me very welcome there. I made the Imperial staff a thank you card - I felt it was the least I could do!

April 08:
So - what to do now? The answer is Basingstoke and Milton Keynes! I have started on a new project for Siemens requiring me to stay in Basingstoke for 1 night a week, and work in Milton Keynes (MK) for 1 day - so all in all very busy. Very challenging (which is good). Mark has really started to take his photography seriously now, and has entered a couple of competitions - he was getting a little disillusioned, but we are encouraging him lots and lots.

May 08:
Very busy month getting all of our Dodford Inn supporters rallying round ready for planning permission day (19th May). [see http://www.savethedodford.co.uk]. Most of our spare time has gone on keeping the website up to date, sending out informative emails, and speaking to the press. But it was all worth it, as we won the day, yet again - all planning was rejected - I would think that they would appeal - but we are ready!!!

June 08:
Jack was 14 this month. We had a great BBQ (and the weather was good to us)! Jack had some of his mates from school stay over the weekend - lovely lads! He got mainly money (which is what he wanted) and we went off on a bit of a spending spree on the Sunday. June has also seen the launch of PENDLE PHOTOGRAPHY, with Mark's first commissions. He did some great photographs of some barges being built, and his pictures were used at a show for marketing purposes, and this weekend, he has been taking photographs for a dear friend of ours (Paul) who was 60. I built Mark a new website [http://www.pendlephoto.com] and I even have a protected area for Paul and his family so that they can browse all of the photographs. Mark had already taken some on Friday at the family luncheon, and he got them printed out for the evening - Paul's friends were very impressed!

Well that's it for the moment - I have made loads of cards, but I always forget to take photographs of them to show you! I'll get more efficient one day!

Let's see if I can get a blog in within 3 months this time.....don't hold your breath!

All the best. Lisa
